Maple Extract has a deep maple aroma and flavor that takes you back to piping hot griddle cakes on a frosty winter morning.  Use it in hot oatmeal and pancakes.  Homemade syrup is very easy to make, or just add some to your purchased syrup for deep rich maple taste.  Of course Maple is also good in glaze, icing and baked goods.  Add to anything with a buttery nutty flavor.  For a twist substitute Maple for Vanilla in a recipe.

One to three teaspoons (to your taste) for a full recipe or 1/8 – 1/4 teaspoon for a single serving.
Add ¼ teaspoon to hot oatmeal.
Add ¼ teaspoon to cold cereal and milk.
Heat store bought maple syrup and add Maple Flavor (and Butter Flavor) for a much richer maple taste.
Make your own maple syrup, with your favorite sweetener (sugar, honey, corn syrup)
Add ½ teaspoon to your favorite icing recipe
Add ½ teaspoon to pancakes
Add ½ teaspoon to French toast (great way to use the last few stale pieces of bread or leftover buns)
Add to your favorite homemade vanilla ice cream recipe.  Amount varies depending on your batch size.  About 2 tablespoons flavor per gallon.
Add ¼ teaspoon with sweetener to plain yogurt.  Add nuts or apples for a full meal.
Add to protein drinks.
Add to milk with sweetener.
